Caldwell County had a pair of runners-up and five top-four finishes at the North Oldham Mustang Classic wrestling tournament in Goshen on Saturday.
Ethan Klidzejs at 106 pounds and Donovan Rogers at 150 each placed second in their weight class.
Klidzejs won his first two matches by pin before being decisioned 11-4 in the championship match.
Rogers rolled through his first three matches at 150 before being decisioned 7-2 in the first-place match.
Three other Tiger wrestlers placed fourth on Saturday.
Trey Herron went 3-2 while taking fourth at 113.
Elijha Kirby was 3-2 at 126 while placing fourth.
Bradley Asher was fourth at 185, going 5-2 on the day.
In addition, Justin Klidzejs was 4-2 at 138 but fell in the consolation semifinals.
Braydon Springfield went 4-2 at heavyweight but also fell in the consolation semis.
Jonathan Cocchi went 2-2 at 157 pounds.
Caldwell finished 22nd in the team standings out of over 50 teams taking part in the North Oldham tournament.
The Tiger matmen are off this week to get ready for the Region 1 Tournament, which is coming up Saturday, Feb. 21, at Henderson County.
