Dawson Springs’ defense dominated Tuesday, shutting down Community Christian in a 49-10 victory.
The Panthers smothered the Warriors all night, holding them scoreless in the fourth quarter to close out the rout.
Alieah Cook led all scorers with 11 points, while Ashtyn Swatzell added 10. Eight Panthers found the scoring column as Dawson Springs improved to 5-11.
Dawson Springs opened strong, racing to a 24-2 lead in the first quarter. Five players contributed offensively in the early surge, and the Panthers never faced serious pressure the rest of the way.
Dawson Springs returns home Tuesday to host Livingston Central. Community Christian will look for its first win Thursday at Fulton County.
