Christian County’s Josh Bridges to Play Football at KWC (w/VIDEO)

After leaving Christian County High School following his junior year, Josh Bridges returned during the middle of the 2025-2026 school year and has now signed to continue his football and educational career at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro.

Bridges played for Murray High School during the 2025 football season and then returned to Christian County and is now back playing for the Colonels’ basketball team.

During his senior football season at Murray High School. Bridges caught 54 passes for 905 yards and 9 touchdowns. He also had 39 yards rushing and three touchdowns.

Bridges was a big part of the Murray offense that led the Tigers to an unbeaten regular season and then to a trip to the state championship game.

On the defensive side of the ball, he finished with 31 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 fumble recovery.

His junior season at Christian County High School, Bridges finished the year with 31 receptions for 563 yards and 8 touchdowns. He also had 56 yards rushing.
