After leading the Christian County Colonels in receptions during the 2025 football season, senior Zyon Wharton is getting the chance to continue his athletic and educational career on the next level. Wharton officially signed to play football with Lindsey Wilson University, in Columbia, Thursday afternoon during signing ceremonies at the school.
With one game of stats not reported to the KHSAA for 2025, Wharton had 33 catches for 487 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed the ball 13 times for 41 yards.
During his junior year in 2024, with two games of stats not reported to the KHSAA, Wharton had 19 catches for 272 yards and two touchdowns. He ran the ball 24 times for 158 yards and a score.
