Dawson Springs faced off against Livingston Central at home on Thursday evening, and they went in looking to carry the momentum they got in their last game against Community Christian where they won 60-51.

Unfortunately for the Panthers they were not able to start a new win streak, as they lost to the Cardinals 61-54.

The Panthers had taken the last six meetings against Livingston Central, which means that this was the first win the Cardinal got in the all-time series since December of 2022 when they beat Dawson Springs in overtime.

Central’s regular season record is now 12 and 10, and they have won three of their last five games. The Panthers are now 6-15, and have lost six of their last seven games.

So they will be looking to bounce back in their next game, especially since they only have six games remaining in the regular season.

Their next one will be against the Heritage Christian Warriors on Friday, February 13, and is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Heritage Christian Academy.
