Six UK Players Invited to NFL Combine

Six University of Kentucky football players —Josh Braun, Jager Burton, Jalen Farmer, David Gusta, Kendrick Law and Seth McGowan — have received invitations for the 2026 National Football League Scouting Combine scheduled Feb. 23 – March 2 in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Additionally, punter Adian Laros was invited to the NFL Specialist Showcase on Feb. 25.

NFL Scouting Combine Live Drills begins Feb. 26, with exclusive live coverage on NFL Network and NFL+. The full lineup is as follows:

— Feb. 27:  DL, LB drills (Gusta)

—  Feb. 28: DB, TE drills

—   March 1: QB, WR, RB drills (Law and McGowan)

—   March 2: OL drills (Braun, Burton and Farmer)

•    Kentucky has had at least four players invited to the NFL Scouting Combine six straight seasons and seven of the last eight.  

•    A total of 53 Wildcats have been invited to the Combine since 2013 and 44 players since 2019.

•    The Wildcats are looking to have multiple players drafted for the eighth straight year.

o    In 2025, two players were drafted in DB Maxwell Hairston and DL Deone Walker.

o    In 2024, four players (DB Andru Phillips, ILB Trevin Wallace, RB Ray Davis and QB Devin Leary) were drafted.

o    In 2023, three players (QB Will Levis, RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. and DB Carrington Valentine) were chosen.

o    In 2022, UK had four players (WR Wan’Dale Robinson, DL Joshua Paschal, OL Luke Fortner and OL Darian Kinnard) selected.

o    In 2021, six players (LB Jamin Davis, DB Kelvin Joseph, DL Quinton Bohanna, DB Brandin Echols, OL Landon Young and DL Phil Hoskins) were selected, which tied for the fourth-most in school history and the most since 1979 (eight).

o    In 2020, two players (WR Lynn Bowden Jr. and OL Logan Stenberg) were drafted.

o    In 2019, UK had five NFL draft picks in LB Josh Allen, DB Lonnie Johnson Jr., DB Mike Edwards, RB Benny Snell Jr. and OL George Asafo-Adjei.

•    The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
