
Ballard Memorial used an 18-0 third-quarter run to seal a 54-35 win over Trigg County on Monday at Wildcat Gym.
The burst saw the Bombers hit 8 of 13 shots in the quarter and score 15 of their 21 points from nine Wildcat turnovers.
Trigg County missed six straight shots and turned the ball over seven times as the Bombers took a 22-20 deficit to a 38-22 lead with 38 seconds left in the quarter.
The game was a rock fight early, as Trigg led 10-8 after one quarter and 19-17 at halftime, with each team missing 17 shots in the first half.
Ballard Memorial was more effective in the paint, outscoring Trigg 22-12. The Bombers were more opportunistic on mistakes, outscoring the Wildcats 29-7 off turnovers despite just a six-turnover difference.

Grayson Sparacio led the Bombers with 15 points, while Ike Miller commanded a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Ballard Memorial has won four straight games against Trigg County and six of eight overall.
Landon Swann scored 13 points for Trigg County, and Davaree Gude added 12 points and eight rebounds in his final game on the Wildcat Gym floor.
Ballard Memorial’s length along its front line gave Trigg’s shooters fits for most of the night as the Wildcats hit just 3 of 19 from three-point range.
Trigg County (7-20) will close out the regular season Tuesday at Christian Fellowship.
