The Dawson Springs Lady Panthers went into their Friday evening game against Hickman County having won back-to-back games. Unfortunately for them, that streak did not continue, as the Lady Falcons were able to come to Dawson Springs’ home floor and get the 51-22 win.
This is the third time in a row that Hickman County has gotten the best of Dawson Springs, as the last win the Lady Panthers have gotten against the Lady Falcons was back in January of 2017.
Hickman County finished their regular season with a 15-10 record, which placed them eighth place in the First Region.
As for Dawson Springs, their year concluded with them having a 8-14 record. They might not have been able to get the win in their final game of the regular season, but they could redeem themselves in the district tournament.
Their next game will be on Monday, February 23, against the Lady Storm of Hopkins County Central. This game will be played at Hopkins County Central High School as part of 7th District action, and will tip off at 6 p.m.
