Caldwell County senior Ke’Darriah Thompson made sure she had more games to play.
Thompson scored 12 points and pulled down 15 rebounds Monday night to help the Lady Tigers turn back Madisonville-North Hopkins 49-37 in the 7th District semifinals in Mortons Gap.
The win earned Thompson at least two more times on the court – Thursday’s district championship game and the first round of the 2nd Region tournament next week.
Your Sports Edge spoke with Thompson after the game about extending her season.
