Eithan Cassell just missed a trip to the state wrestling tournament last year after a fifth-place finish at the region. Now, coming off a third-place finish on Saturday, the Fort Campbell senior will make his first state appearance on Thursday.
Cassell (42-13) will open against Simon Kenton junior Jordan Rutherford (27-14) in the first round of the 138-pound class. He will be one of five Falcons to wrestle at state on Thursday and Friday. He talks about the experience in this YSE interview.
