Hopkinsville freshman Christon Johnson qualified for the state wrestling tournament after a third-place finish at the region over the weekend. Johnson will take a 27-5 record into Thursday’s first-round match with Martin County freshman Blake Lemaster (33-9).
Johnson is one of two Hopkinsville wrestlers competing at state, and in this YSE interview, says his goal for the weekend is simple.
