Clara Strack was named All-Southeastern Conference First Team and SEC All-Defensive Team and Tonie Morgan was selected to the All-SEC Second Team, it was announced by the league office Tuesday.
Last week, Morgan was also named to the SEC Community Service Team. She recently gifted 20 local athletes $100 gift cards to Academy Sports to ease the burden of equipment and gear. She also donated $500 worth of winter coats to families in need, and she teamed up with Anthony Robinson, Missouri men’s basketball player also from Tallahassee, to give Florida High new scorers tables. Moreover, she donated to The Alexus House, a cause close to her heart.

Clara Strack, who was named to the All-SEC Second Team and SEC Defensive Player of the Year last season, received her first selection to the first team. It is her second straight selection to the defensive team.
The junior center finished the regular season with 499 points, 305 rebounds, 77 blocks, 58 assists and 38 steals, becoming the only SEC player since at least 2002-03 – and just the second Division I player since at least 2002-03 (also TCU’s Sanfora Irvin in 2004-05) – to have all of those numbers in one regular season.
In her most recent game, she led Kentucky with 24 points and nine rebounds against No. 3/3 South Carolina to help UK get within two points of the touted team with under one minute before falling by just four points.
Through 30 games this season, she is averaging 16.6 points per game, 10.2 rebounds per game (23rd in the nation), 1.93 assists per game, 2.57 blocks per game (seventh in the nation), 1.27 steals per game and has made 17 3s.
— She is the only player in the nation averaging all of those stats.
—She is the only player in the nation with at least 16.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg and 2.0 bpg.
— She is one of three players in the nation (and the only player in Power 4) with at least 16.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg and 17 3s.
— She is one of four players in the nation (and the only player in Power 4) with at least 16.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg and 1.9 apg.
Her season highs include 33 points (at Arkansas), three 3FGM (2x last Florida), 16 rebounds (USC Upstate), seven assists (Vanderbilt), four steals (at Miami) and seven blocks (Hofstra).
Strack also has 13 double-doubles this season, which is 20th in the nation. She had six double-doubles through the first seven games, the first UK player to do that since at least 2002-03. Since the start of last season – her first season at UK – the team is 24-4 when she records a double-double.
The Buffalo, New York, native is one of the best passing centers in the nation, too. Since her first game under head coach Kenny Brooks at UK, she has dished out multiple assists in 40 of her 61 games (65.6%), including 19 of her 30 games (63.3%) this season. She recently recorded seven assists against No. 7/8 Vanderbilt on Feb. 5.
Tonie Morgan, PG, Sr., 5-9
Tonie Morgan is the only player in the nation averaging at least 13.0 points per game and 8.0 assists per game through 30 games in 2025-26. She is first in the nation in assists (245) and second in the nation in assists per game (8.2). She broke the single-season school record in assists with 214 through 25 games this season. For perspective, All-American Georgia Amoore broke the school record – which had stood for more than 40 years before her — with 213 assists through 31 games in 2024-25
Morgan’s 245 assists also are ninth on the league’s all-time, top 10 list. She needs 17 more to be in the top five (262).
With five more assists, she will become the second player in SEC history with at least 400 points and 250 assists in a single season (also LSU’s Tameka Johnson in 2003-04). She is the only SEC player — and the sixth DI women’s player — to have at least 417 points and 245 assists in one regular season since at least 2002-03.
Overall in 2025-26, she has led the team in scoring on a team-lead 10 occasions, including five 20+ point games. She also has already made single-season, career-best 19 3s on 36.5 percent shooting overall this season.
The Wildcat has 713 career assists, which is ranked third among all active players in all divisions, while the two players ahead of her are in their fifth years. Her 5.7 career assists per game are fifth among all active players in all divisions.
Some her single-game assists stats from the season include:
— She has dished out at least nine assists against three Associated Press Top 15 opponents in regular-season SEC games, becoming the first SEC player to do that since South Carolina’s Christina Ciocan in 2002-03. She is the second DI women’s player since at least 2002-03 to have at least nine assists in two conference true road games against AP Top Five opponents in a single season (at Vanderbilt, at LSU) (also Caitlin Clark in 2022-23).
— She has nine games with at least 10 assists this season, including five in the SEC. That is the most games with at least 10 assists in a single season by an SEC player (nine) since Texas A&M’s Curtyce Knox in 2016-17 (15).
— She has three games with at least 11 assists and zero turnovers this season, which is the most 11+ assists and 0 turnover games in the nation this season. She is the first SEC player to have three games with at least 10 assists and 0 turnovers in a single season since at least 2002-03.
— She is tied for the second-most games in a single-season with at least 10 assists and 0 turnovers by any DI women’s player since 2002-03 (Baylor’s Niya Johnson had six such games in 2014-15).
— She has five games with at least 12 assists this season, including four in the SEC. That is the most games with at least 12 assists in a single season in program history. That is the most regular-season SEC games with at least 12 assists in a single season by an SEC player since at least 2002-03.
— She is the first player in program history to have multiple SEC games with at least 13 assists (three).
— She is the only player in the nation to have a 16-assist game, a 14-assist game and a 13-assist game this season. Her 16-assist game is tied with one other for first in the nation.
