Hopkinsville senior De’Andre Watkins will continue his football career at the collegiate level after announcing his commitment to play at Thomas More University.
Watkins helped the Tigers finish with a 7-5 record. Appearing in 10 games, Watkins made an impact primarily on the defensive side of the ball, recording 47 tackles, including one tackle for loss.
He also added a takeaway during the season with an interception and forced a fumble on defense.
Thomas Moore competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference at the NCAA Division II level.
Located in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, Thomas More transitioned to NCAA Division II competition after many successful seasons at the NAIA level, where the Saints won multiple conference championships.
