Fort Campbell Archers Shoot Personal Bests at NASP State Tourney

The Fort Campbell archery program finished in 103rd place at the NASP State Archery Tournament in Louisville on Saturday.

Leading the way was Cole Topasna, who shot a 279 and 15 tens. Topasna finished 155th out of 1,538 high school boys.

On the girls’ side, Elisee Nguimbi posted a personal-best 273 with 12 tens. She ranked 277th among high school girls.

Several Fort Campbell archers recorded personal bests at the state tournament, including:

  • Tyler Tow – 271 (414th boys overall)
  • Trent Edwards – 258 (personal best)
  • Haylee Cox-Elmore – 249
  • Miya Knowlton – 247

Other scores for the Falcons included Caden Nunley (269), Arthur Thompson (268), Ada Oberman (266), Layla White (266), Andrew McWherter (245), Aria Welsh (244), Robert Warmouth (243), Noah Tajalle (243), Peyton Flori (243), James Hudson (240), Colton Colburn (237), Lincoln Wilbur (235), Emma Richardson (231), Kamryn Irvin (228), Robert Charles (226), and David Dixon (214).

Fort Campbell shot a score of 3,140.
