UHA Picks Up Seven 1st Place Finishes at Green County

A strong effort Friday for the University Heights Academy boys’ and girls’ track teams. The two teams combined for seven first place finishes as they went on the road to Greensburg for the Green County ‘All Comers’ meet.

Jackson Estes picked up 9th place in the Boys 100 Meters with a time of 12.10. He also took 8th place in the Boyss 200 Meters with a time of 24.97.

Graham Conrad and Zech Davis both finished in the top 5 in the Boys 800 Meters. Conrad was fourth with a time of 2:16.31, while Davis was right behind him in 5th place with a time of 2:16.95.

Conrad won the Boys 1600 Meters with a time of 4:54.77, nearly two full seconds ahead of second place finisher Cody Swary, of Green County. Jude Finch ended up 7th in the race with a time of 5:22.22.

Finch would take the win in the Boys 3200 Meter, running a 11:40.90.

The Blazers had three of the top 10 in the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles, led by Ronan Croney-Salllie, who finished fourth with a 50.97. Right behind him in 5th place was Garrett Bowling with a 52.29. Britton Marschand took 8th place with a 58.65.

UHA was second in the Boys 4×400 with a 3:53.41. The Blazers took the win in the Boys 4×800 in a time of 9:03.43, nearly four full seconds ahead of second place Green County.

In field events, Jackson Estes was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 17-3.50. Jack Conrad took ninth at 14-10.00.

Ronan Croney-Salllie was third in the triple jump with a jump of 37-0.00.

On the girls’ side, Ajae Oatts took the win in the Girls 100 Meters with a time of 13.40. Emma Dill was in 5th place with a 14.23.

Oatts also won the Girls 200 Meters in a time of 28.16. Cassie Keller finished in 7th place with a 30.58.

Ajae Oatts very nearly pulled off the triple, finishing second in the Girls 400 Meters with a time of 1:06.02, less than half a second behind Cadence Booth, of Adair County.

Emma Dill picked up the double with wins in the Girls 100 Meter Hurdles and the 300 Meter Hurdles. She won the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 18.87 and took the 300 with a 51.92 effort.

Cassie Keller had a fourth place finish in the Girls Long Jump with her best effort coming in at 12-10.00. She took third in the Triple Jump with a 26-1.00

Audrey Lovell took 10th place in both the Girls Discus and the Girls Shot Put with a 35-1.00 in the discus and a 15-4.00 in the shot.
