
Another Caldwell County Lady Tiger will play college volleyball.
Chevy McGowan signed on Friday to continue her career at Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois.
McGowan joins a lengthy list of Lady Tigers who have taken their talents to college.
However, she is the first CCHS standout to move on to the next level since Olivia Mitchell finished her career at Georgetown College.

McGowan led the Lady Tigers in kills last season with 180, helping Caldwell County go 17-11 and win the 7th District championship. She also had 197 digs and 49 service aces.

The Shawnee Saints compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Shawnee is a member of the Great Rivers Athletic Conference.
The Saints volleyball program is in a rebuilding mode after going 5-26 last season.
