
Heritage Christian Academy used a big 8-run third inning to take control of the game and then cruised from there to pick up an 11-3 road win Thursday night at Livingston Central. Caden Gresham and Collin Outland combined for four hits and five RBIs as the Warriors picked up their second win of the season.
HCA (2-2) was leading 2-1 when the big third inning effectively settled the issue. The first four Warrior hitters reached base to start the inning and 13 batters came to the plate for HCA.
Caden Gresham had a big night for HCA, finishing 3-5 with 3 RBIs and two runs scored. Collin Outland was 2-1 with two RBIs, two runs scored, and three walks. Henry Bullard ended up 2-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Gresham went the distance on the mound for the Warriors. He gave up three runs, two of them earned, on six hits, striking out 11 and walking none.
