
The Trigg County Lady Wildcats kicked off a weekend trip to Illinois with their third straight win. Tember Oliver threw a complete game three-hitter as the Lady Wildcats rolled past Murphysboro 6-1.
It was the third straight game that the Lady Wildcats have given up just one run.
Trigg got RBI singles from Livia Breckel and Lily Eagleson in the first inning to take a 2-0 lead. Trigg added a run in the third on a groundout to make it 3-0.
The Lady Wildcats (6-1) added three insurance runs in the botton of the sixth inning on a two-run single from MaKenna Hendricks and an RBI single from Veyda Grinols as the lead grew to 6-0.
Every Lady Wildcat in the starting batting order had at least one hit. Kady Fuller was 2-3 with a double, a triple, and two runs scored. EmmaLee Futrell was 2-3 with a run scored.
Tember Oliver gave up one unearned run on three hits, striking out nine and walking one.
