Tomerlin Picks Up Where He Left Off on the Mat for the Falcons

Fort Campbell had a wrestler bring home an individual title at the Reitz Hill Classic in Evansville Saturday.

Ethan Tomerlin, who was region runner-up as a freshman, won his first four matches by pin and claimed a 4-1 decision in the championship match of the 182-pound class for the Falcons’ lone title of the day.

Justin Wilson won three matches on the day and finished fourth in the 220-pound division.

Alexei Royar won three matches and finished sixth in the 120-pound class. Two of his three wins came by pin.

Jesus Avila won a 5-1 decision in his final match of the day to finish seventh in the 195-pound class. He was 3-2 on the day.

Daniel Pomeroy finished eighth in the 132-pound class and brought home three points for the Falcons.

Deontez Jenkins-Reynolds also finished eighth, claiming three points in the 152-pound class.

Tyler MacKay (160) and Justin Graley (170) also finished eighth, good for three team points.

Fort Campbell totaled 60 points and finished in ninth place.
