Caldwell County Tennis Teams Pick Up Wins Against Hopkins Central

The Lady Tigers swept seven girls matches as Caldwell County’s tennis teams picked up wins over Hopkins County Central on Thursday in Princeton.
Caldwell’s girls are now 3-0 on the season.
Caldwell’s guys are 2-1 after claiming six of nine matches against the Storm.
In girls singles:
Maddie Morgan defeated Chloe Mackey 6-1, 6-0;
Chasie Phelps def. Abby Mitchell 8-0;
Shae Sharp def. Anna Krown 8-4;
Kaylee McEnaney def. Natalie Richey 8-6;
Josie Shaffer def. Jaclyn Egbert 8-0.
Girls doubles:
Morgan/Phelps def. Mitchell/Krown 6-1, 6-1;
Sharp/Shaffer def. Mackey/Kiera James 8-5.
In boys singles:
Shelton Cansler (CC) def. Ronnie Fazial 6-4, 6-4;
Cobie Pyle (HC) def. Jordan Hammett 8-2;
Matt Dawes (HC) def. Brycen Banister 8-4;
Ryan Hammett (CC) def. Isaac Dowdy 8-6;
Michael Henry (CC) def. Colton Browning 8-6;
Billy Wallace (CC) def. Easton Crowe 8-2.

Caldwell’s tennis teams next go to Hopkinsville on Monday. The Tigers and Lady Tigers will play at home again on Tuesday against Union County.
