Lyon County plays their first basketball scrimmage of the season Saturday at the King of the Bluegrass Jamboree at Fairdale High School in Louisville. The Lyons will play North Bullitt, a team that is slated to return everyone from a 9-22 team last year.
First-year Lyons Coach Ryan Perry says he is hoping the tougher schedule — especially early — will benefit his young team. The Lyons will play in the Marshall County HoopFest, McCracken County Shootout, Marion, Ill. Shootout, and the Campbellsville Holiday Classic all in December.
