
Trigg County picked a good time to post a season-high archery score. The Arrowcats shot a 3,360 to win their eighth straight NASP Region I title Saturday at Murray, edging Graves County by five points.
Kole Stagner shot the best score for Trigg County on the day with a 292. He finished third in the male division. Murray’s Nick Welch and Graves County’s Ethan Weatherford both shot the top score with a 293.
Audie Smith shot a 286 to win the female division.
Trigg County has won the region tournament every year since the NASP created the region level tourney in 2013.
