Hopkinsville golf pro Mitchell Moore tied for second at the 69th Kentucky PGA Championship played earlier this week at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville.

Moore shot even par on the first day and completed a second round at 2-over to finish tied for second, seven shots behind the winner Grover Justice.

Moore, who is the PGA Director of Instruction at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club, qualifies for the 2021 PGA Professional Championship to be played in April at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  The 2020 PGA Professional Championship was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
