Fort Campbell’s Eugene Joo celebrated his first individual region swim title by also taking home the Region I sportsmanship award following Sunday’s region meet.
The Falcon sophomore won the 100-yard breaststroke, making him the first swimmer at Fort Campbell to win an individual title at the region meet.
Joo also was a part of the region champion 200-yard medley relay team that will swim later this month at the state meet in Lexington.
The award is voted on by the region’s coaches.
