Austin Crick tied for 10th individually and Caldwell County’s golfers were sixth in the team standings in their opening invitational of the season.
Crick carded a 1-over-par 73 and the Tigers tallied a 318 team score in the Battle at the Creek, which was played Friday morning at Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Golf Course in Franklin.
Camden McGregor was next on the Caldwell scorecard with an 80.
Collin Whittington shot an 81, Carter Whittington 84 and Ryan Hammett 94.
Bowling Green’s Charlie Reber was medalist with a 7-under 65. Sonny Pal of Greenwood was runner-up with a 69.
Bowling Green captured the team title at 278. Greenwood was second at 292.
Caldwell’s golfers are scheduled to play in the Henderson Invitational on Monday at Henderson Country Club.
