The Sun Belt Conference Tournament title belongs to the Kentucky Wildcats following their 2-0 defeat of James Madison in the Conference Championship game. Luis Grassow began the match with a goal inside the first five minutes of action to give the Wildcats a quick 1-0 lead. Enzo Mauriz scored the team’s other goal in the 83rd minute to seal the championship.
Kentucky ranks No. 2 overall in the country and will head into the NCAA Tournament as the last remaining undefeated team in the country. The Wildcats also won the regular season Sun Belt Conference title. Kentucky will learn their tournament draw during today’s selection show, which will take place at 1 PM ET via ncaa.com.
