The Caldwell County Lady Tiger volleyball team held its first scrimmage at Paducah Community Christian on Thursday.
The teams split two varsity sets. Caldwell won the first set 25-23 but dropped the second set 25-18.
Caldwell’s JV team swept three sets.
Caldwell’s freshmen dropped two sets.
The Lady Tigers have also added a scrimmage this Saturday at Graves County, facing both the host school and Paducah Tilghman.
The regular season opener for Caldwell is Thursday, Aug. 17, at home against Union County.
