Another big night from Alice Smith led the Lyon County Lady Lyons to their third straight win Thursday night. Smith scored five times as the Lady Lyons roared to a big 8-1 district win over the Crittenden County Lady Rockets in Marion.
Not only did Smith score five times, she also provided two assists in the match.
Smith was not the only Lady Lyon to come up with a big night. Anna White finished with three goals and assisted on two of Smith’s scores.
Olivia Adams also added an assist for Lyon County.
Richmond Herring finished with another solid night in the net for the Lady Lyons, finishing with nine saves.
With the win, the Lady Lyons improve to 8-4-1 on the season. They now get ready for a big 5th District battle Tuesday night on the road at Trigg County.
