
The Madisonville-North Hopkins boys’ soccer team claimed its second-straight 2nd-Region title with a 3-1 victory over Henderson County on Thursday at Donley Field.
The champion Maroons were represented on the All-District squad by Logan Terry, Sam Dodds, Eli Redpath, Maverick Peyton, Dru Lile, Noah Mayes, and goalkeeper Hunter Gamblin.
Runner-up Henderson County was led by senior forward Jack Gentry, joined by Cole Branson, Elliott Pryor, and Tage Vekseth-Hahn.
University Heights Academy’s Clayton Lester, Griffin McCoy, and Harlow Hampton made the team. Hopkinsville’s David Lopez, Alex Ramirez, and Christian County’s Christian Lopez rounded out the 8th-District picks.
Evan Delamar, Jesus Santiago, and goalkeeper Harrison Warren were named from Webster County, along with Caldwell County’s AJ Padilla and Hopkins County Central’s Jax Mitchell.
