Heading into Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it’s pretty simple as it pertains to the playoff hopes for the Tennessee Titans. Win and you are in. Lose and you need some help.
But here’s the tidbit from the NFL, released in the updated playoff scenarios on Tuesday morning:
Tennessee Titans (8-7) vs. Jacksonville (10-5 ), Sunday, 3:25 p.m. CST at Nissan Stadium.
Tennessee clinches a playoff berth with:
1) TEN win OR
2) TEN tie BUF loss or tie LAC loss or tie OR
3) BUF loss LAC loss
The Jaguars have locked up the AFC South and the No.3 seed in the playoffs, so the Titans are playing for a Wild Card spot. The playoff game would be next weekend, at a date and time that’s to be determined.
The Bills play at Miami on Sunday, while the Chargers face the Raiders.
