Mickey Walls and his wife, Marilyn, have been a part of Caldwell County wrestling for 33 years.
They were both inducted into the Caldwell County Grapplers Hall of Fame in a surprise ceremony prior to Saturday’s Armstrong Classic at the CAB gym.
Mickey Walls coached 204 state qualifiers, 62 state medalists, 11 state finalists and six state champions at Caldwell.
YSE caught up with him Saturday morning at the CAB.
