Hopkins County Central’s Macy Cotton claimed medalist honors while Madisonville-North Hopkins got a team win in a three-way golf match involving the two schools and the Christian County Lady Colonels Monday afternoon.
Cotton finished her round with a 47. That was one shot better than the Lady Maroons’ Emma Duncan, who shot a 48. Adison Melton, of Madisonville-North Hopkins, was third with a 50. Christian County’s low score of the day came from Allie Ezell with a 53.
In team play, Madisonville finished with a 201, while Christian County ended up with a 265. Hopkins County Central had just two golfers take to the course Monday.
