The Todd County Central Rebels continue to be hot at the beginning of the new soccer season. While it took them a little while to get going Thursday night, once they did it was game on as the Rebels rolled to a 7-0 home field win over Logan County in a physical 13th District battle.

The Rebels got on the board in the 11th minute as Sam Perez scored off a perfect crossing pass from Tanner Henderson to take a 1-0 lead. With about 10 minutes left to play in the opening half, Tyler Baker sent a nice ball up that Henderson converted giving Todd County Central a 2-0 lead to take into the half.

The second half was all Todd County Central. Chris Salazar sent a corner in that John Ross Cardwell headed right in front of the keeper just 5 minutes in. Moments later Cardwell dropped a ball back to Chris Salazar from the left corner and Salazar tucked it into the far post from about 25 yards out making it 4-0.

Not long after that, Cole Gilbert hit Cardwell in the box with a long throw and Cardwell slipped it past the keeper for the 5-0 lead.
