One Caldwell County golfer represented the Tigers in the Eagle Trace Invitational Saturday in Morehead.
Seventh grader Landon Mitchell shot a 49 on the front nine at Eagle Trace Golf Course. However, rain hampered play, and eventually caused the cancellation of the event.
Twenty-eight teams were competing.
The Eagle Trace Golf Course is the home course of the Morehead State University golf team.
Meanwhile, Mitchell will play next Sunday in the middle school regional tournament at Calvert City Country Club.
