Livingston Central Has Three on Region Softball Top 10 Player List

Three members of the Livingston Central Lady Cardinals were voted to the region’s preseason top-10 list by the coaches.

With two, Caldwell County was the only other region team with multiple players selected.

Victoria Joiner, Hadley Hargrove, and Addison Tramble of the defending All A Classic state champions were voted onto the list by the 11 region coaches who participated.

Victoria Joiner – Livingston Central

Joiner, a career .462 hitter, batted .473 with six homers and 28 RBI last year. The Lady Cardinal senior shortstop passed the 200 career hit mark last year and needs 11 RBI for 150 in her career.

Hadley Hargrove – Livingston Central 

Hargrove hit .464 last year – right at her career average — with five home runs and a career-best 47 RBI.

Tramble burst onto the scene as a seventh grader last year, going 18-4 in the circle with 182 strikeouts in 138 innings pitched. At the plate, she hit .401 with five home runs and 36 RBI.

Addison Tramble – Livingston Central

Senior Brylee Butts rebounded from a sophomore slump to hit .500 last year for Caldwell County. The University of Memphis signee hit eight home runs and drove in 33 while swiping 14 bases.

Senior Harper Holeman has hit at least eight home runs each of the last three seasons for Caldwell County. In her junior season, she batted .426 with nine home runs and 35 RBI while passing the 150-hit, 125-RBI marks for her career.

Christian County senior Avery Adcock has hit .500 or better in the past two seasons. She batted .533 with nine home runs and 32 RBI last year despite a sharp rise in the number of times she was walked. The University of Missouri signee needs 11 hits for 200 in her career.

Anna Kemp is the lone player on the four-time defending region champion Henderson County squad to be voted into the top 10. Kemp, who just finished playing for the Lady Colonels’ basketball team, is 69-10 for her career in the circle, with 639 strikeouts. Last year, she was 24-1 with a 1.32 ERA. At the plate, she hit .419 with nine home runs and 54 RBI.

Anna Kemp – Henderson County

Webster County’s Chloe Papineau hit .408 with seven home runs and 28 RBI last year and needs six RBI for 100 in her career. She is a career .440 hitter for the Lady Trojans and has won 46 games in the circle with 515 career strikeouts.

Papineau has signed to play college softball at Frontier College.

Madisonville-North Hopkins senior Mackenzie Stoltz hit .396 last year with six homers and 30 RBI at the plate and was 10-2 in the circle with 149 strikeouts in 101 innings pitched. She needs 53 strikeouts this season for 500 in her career.

Trigg County sophomore Tember Oliver joins Tramble as the only underclassman on the list.

She was 18-12 last year with 171 strikeouts and a 1.88 ERA in the circle. She hit .299 at the plate with 17 RBI.

Other players who received multiple votes from the region coaches were Jaylen Tackett and Sydney Thomas from Union County, Courtney Collins from Lyon County, Andrea Federico from Crittenden County, Emersyn Ramage from Livingston Central, Maddie Grogan from Henderson County, and Sadie Kirk from Madisonville.
