The Caldwell County tennis teams picked up wins over Christian County on Monday.
The Lady Tigers claimed an 8-1 victory while the Tigers won their math 5-1.
Caldwell’s girls swept all six of the singles matches:
Ella Johnson defeated Molly Cansler 6-1, 6-0
Troy Freeman def. Lacey Paige 8-2
Meleah Greenfield def. Addison Peck 8-3
Jayden Lamb def. Taylor Glass 8-0
Paysen Menser def. Addison Renshaw 8-4
Paisley Hooks def. Tori Nicholson 8-5.
In doubles:
Freeman/Greenfield def. Cansler/Paige 6-2, 6-3
Addison Robinson/Eleanor Roach def. Peck/Glass 8-6.
Christian County won the other girls’ doubles match when Renshaw/Emerson Boyd defeated Courtney Kinslow/Makenzie French 8-6.
In the boys’ match, Caldwell took three of the four singles competitions:
Cade Rowland def. Cooper Fort 8-6
Cason Littlejohn def. Raymond Robinson 8-4
Elijah Thomas def. Landon Cansler 8-6
Christian’s Jeffery Joiner def. Ben Menser 8-2/
Caldwell won both doubles matches:
Rowland/Littlejohn def. Fort/Robinson 7-5, 6-2
Noah Bailey/Menser def. Cansler/Joiner 8-2.
The Caldwell tennis teams will be back on the court again Tuesday when they host Fort Campbell at the CCHS tennis courts.
