This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of April 28 is University Heights Academy’s Hayden Hunt. Hayden was selected based on his performance during the Blazers’ big 5-0 win in an important 8th District game against Hopkinsville Monday night.

Hayden pitched a complete game no-hitter as the Blazers knocked off Hopkinsville 5-0 for their second win this season over the Tigers.

He struck out 12 and walked only two over his seven innings as he was in control from the beginning and looked as strong as ever when he struck out the Tigers in order to end the game in the top of the seventh.

The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Heritage Christian, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
