The Hopkins County Central Lady Storm wrapped up an unbeaten trip to the Bluegrass State Games in Lexington on Saturday with a 6-0 win over Mason County.
Emma Vandiver scored a pair of goals, and Destiny Caudill scored one goal and assisted on another. Riley Richardson also scored a goal and assisted on another for the Lady Storm, who also got goals from Lilly Armour and Savannah Barnett.
Armour had Hopkins County Central’s lone score earlier on Saturday in a 1-1 tie with Johnson Central.
The weekend was also a good one for the Lady Storm defense, which allowed just two goals in their three games.
Hopkins County Central will host McCracken County for a preseason scrimmage on July 31.
