Murray High captured the Boys Class 2A Sectional golf championship on Wednesday at Lakeshore Country Club in Madisonville.
Maddox Mitchell took medalist honors with a 73, with teammate Owen English right behind with a 74. Reed Jarvis finished third with a 75, and Ian Dahncke was fifth with a 79.
Murray had a team score of 301, which was 27 shots better than second-place Hopkins County Central.
Max Clarke led the Storm with a score of 77. Clarke and teammate Ashton Blades (79) both qualified for the Class 2A State Tournament to be held Sept. 7-8 in Owensboro.
