
Crittenden County continued its recent mastery of Trigg County with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-17) win over the Lady Wildcats on Monday in Marion.
Grace Carver had four kills, two digs, and an ace for Trigg County, while Cali Jones and Chloe Adams each had three kills. Mackenzie Gugeski had a pair of blocks and two aces, and Lilah Booth had 12 digs and an ace.
The win was Crittenden’s 20th straight over Trigg County, dating back to the 2017 district tournament.
Crittenden County (5-9) completed the season sweep of Trigg and can wrap up the district’s top seed with a win over Livingston Central on Sept. 22.
Trigg County (1-6) can speed up that process with a win over the Lady Cardinals on Thursday in Smithland. First, the Lady Wildcats will host Fort Campbell on Tuesday.
