The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons got their seventh shutout of the season Saturday afternoon. The Lady Maroons went north of the Ohio River and took a 1-0 win over Evansville Christian.
The Lady Maroons’ lone goal of the day was scored by Aletheia Golightly, her 8th goal of the season.
Anna Sampson was credited with the assist on the goal, her first of the season.
The Madisonville defense allowed Evansville Christian just four shots on goal with Nevaeh Lindle picking up saves on two of those.
The Lady Maroons (9-5) will go back on the road Monday night to take on Daviess County.
