The Dawson Springs Lady Panthers set the tone early and never let up, blasting Christian Fellowship 67-33 Thursday night.

Dawson Springs had nine different scorers, led by Ashtyn Swatzell with 18 points, Briley Sawyer with 16 and Olivia Hines with 11. With so many players contributing, the Panthers’ depth proved too much for the Eagles to handle.

The Panthers kept the Eagles in check most of the night. Despite a strong third-quarter surge from Christian Fellowship, Dawson Springs left little doubt in the fourth, outscoring the Eagles 22-4 to close out the game.

Kylee Hines tried to keep the Eagles close, finishing with a game-high 19 points, but it wasn’t enough to make the game competitive.

Dawson Springs shot 18-for-30 from the free-throw line, with most of the damage coming in the second half, when they shot 24 of those 30 attempts to keep the Eagles at bay.
