Fort Campbell High School opened in 1962 and is one of two schools in the state that operate through the Department of Defense. Falcon athletes are children of personnel stationed at Fort Campbell, which straddles the Kentucky-Tennessee border. The Falcons are a track and field powerhouse and one of a handful of schools in Kentucky to win three consecutive state football championships.
