Lyon County High School was created in 1947 by the consolidation of Kuttawa and Eddyville High Schools. The Lyons have one of the smallest enrollments of schools in the Second Region but consistently challenge for championships through the All-A Classic in several sports. Lyon County is one of four schools in the Second Region that does not play football.
