Trigg County High School was created in 1937 with students from Cerulean, Rockcastle, and Montgomery. Cadiz High was absorbed in 1938 with students from Linton Rogers and Golden Pond consolidating in the next three years. The Wildcats have boasted state championships in several sports but are known for their greatest success in track and field and most recently archery.
