University Heights Academy is located in Hopkinsville and is one of two private schools to compete in the Second Region. The Blazers enjoyed minimal athletic success in their early years, but the creation of the All-A Classic into a statewide entity saw UHA capitalize into an annual region and state contender in several sports. The Blazers are the only Second Region school to win an All-A Classic and KHSAA boys’ state basketball title.
