It was a tough first day at the Lady Dragons Lair Classic for the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers. Hoptown dropped a pair of matches to teams from the 1st Region and the 3rd Region.
Hopkinsville began the day taking on the Apollo Lady Eagles. Apollo won the match by a score of 3-1. Hopkinsville’s second match of the day came against McCracken County, with the Lady Mustangs putting the defensive clamps on the Lady Tigers in a 7-0 win.
With the two losses, Hopkinsville falls to 4-9 on the season. They return to action Sunday in the Lady Dragons Lair Classic against South Warren.
