Christian County junior left-hander Lane Diuguid has a 4.04 ERA in two appearances this year but has struck out 18 batters in eight innings pitched, including fanning 12 against Allen County-Scottsville. Lane likes what he was able to accomplish in the offseason and thinks his hard work will pay off as the season wears on.
