The region cross country meet is three weeks away, and runners from all three classes in Region I got a course preview Saturday at the FastCats Invitational at Owensboro’s Yellow Creek Park.
Chase Atkins finished 14th in a time of 17:28 over the 3.1-mile course. Max DuBois came across the finish line in 145th in a time of 20:21 followed by Jamarius McKnight (321st) and Jonathon Quincey (388th).
Madisonville’s Christian Parker bested 400 other runners in the race to win in a time of 15:59.
Freshman Allison Wood was the lone Lady Tiger to run Saturday. She completed the 3.1-mile course in a time of 21:28 to finish 18th out of 256 runners.
Daviess County’s Karlee Hoffman took first place in a time of 19:08 over the 3.1-mile course.
