Three Caldwell Wrestlers Win First Place Medals at West Creek

Caldwell County had three wrestlers win their divisions at the West Creek Coyote Classic in Clarksville Saturday.

Riley Johnson won the 106-pound class with a 7-1 decision over Summit’s Jackson Masters.

Dylan Walls won the 120-pound class with a technical fall decision over Summit’s Maguire Scruggs.

Seth Slayton took first in the 170-pound class with a major decision over Nolensville’s Mike McWilliams in the championship match.

Colin Walls (145) and John Paredes (152) both won three matches in the event.

Caldwell County took eight wrestlers and scored 98 points to finish in 12th place out of 27 teams.
